I don’t know how to stop it, toxins pour from almost every faucet,
And it’s constant, I feel overwhelmed and helpless.
Why uphold a system that’s selfish?
We poison the land with demands of consumption,
We keep the manufacturing plants in production,
With useless textiles.
Why do some of us act like ruthless reptiles?
So, what if all of the people who stood on the fences
broke out of their trances and took a stand with their feet firmly planted,
We’re no longer taking this planet for granted.

Seems we need a system cleanse,
I won’t pretend it doesn’t seem lofty,
We’re getting closer to the edge,
if we do nothing it’s sure to be costly.

I do believe that there’s plenty to feed all the people,
Scarcity is an illusion.

We got farmers spraying poisons donning hazmat suits,

There is chronic sonic warfare while the future pleads,
Will you hopelessly cower or bravely take the lead?
Lattice skies choke us.
Chems mess with your focus.
Plastic bottles, silicone chest,
I’m told I’m not to bare my breasts.
A slow, drawn out and painful death, and
Who is left to clean the mess?
This is hard to conceive, but the question is not if,
It’s just how deep.
Will a toxic wasteland be all that we leave?
Is this the legacy of our great humanity?
At least they let us believe that we were actually free
While we got sold on a lie just to satisfy their greed.
